The PTA mission is to provide events and support to the children and staff at Aurora Academy.
This is done by one large fundraiser. With these funds, the PTA provides monies for field trips, celebrations, book fair, staff appreciation, computer equipment, Holiday Shoppe and the largest event, Falcon Fest.
The PTA belongs to the state and national PTA. These state and national organizations provide leadership to our unit, advocate for children through legislative policies.
The PTA works through committees. The committees are listed on the left column. Click on the committee and get involved.
Meetings are held the third Thursday of each month. You do not have to be a member of PTA to get involved. It is only $6.00 to be a member, which supports the state and national PTA.
The time spent volunteering for the PTA counts towards volunteer time required by the school.
