Fundraising for 2008 will be ABC Catalog. Kick off will be August 25 and the fundraiser will run for 2 weeks.

· Fundraising-If you are volunteering during the day, night or weekends at the school, the school guidelines apply. No children.

Orders will be delivered in November and we will need some volunteers on delivery day.

We will also need volunteers on the day of the pig races and limosine ride.

Notes for next year.

1. Teachers get free items. Assume their class will sell enough and have them fill out the order form for the free items. You cannot wait until you know for sure because the time between receiving the orders and turning the final order in to ABC is too short. Tell teachers their deadline for free merchandise is the same deadline as the student deadline.

2. For the pig races. Have an assembly just for the children who qualify for the pig races. Have them all come to the gym at the same time. Notify the teachers for who qualified. The races go very fast. Have about 2 volunteers for this day.

3. Limo rides. Attached is the permission slip we sent home. Notify the teachers of which students qualified. We scheduled the limo right after the students lunch, which was about 11am-1pm. Have 2 to 3 volunteers at the school bring to the children down, 1-2 ride in the limo, and 2-3 volunteers at McDonalds. 1 person at McDonalds needs to have the money for the Ice Cream cones. We did just cones. It made ordering easier. We didn't have to take too long to order. Also I notified the manager of McDonalds ahead of time so that we made sure their ice cream machine was working. We used the McDonalds on Havana by Target.

For Future Fundraising we want to warn you about Believe. We had a horrible experience with them and their frozen products. They also were not helpful the year we did the catalog sales with mistakes in orders. School years of 2005-2006 Catalog and 2006-2007 Frozen foods.
