This picnic is held the week before school begins.

Location:  Country Lane Park is located off of Havana behind Lowe's. 
Timeline: 5:30-7:30pm, August 14, 2008.
May: Reserve park and get a permit from the city by calling Diane at City of Aurora: 303-739-7213.  Park is free for schools, but don't wait too long to reserve.  Diane can fax permit to you.
Make flyers. Give to office staff. They will mail the flyers with the summer letters.

Two weeks before:
Get volunteers if needed.
300 popsicles enough.
Need two extra large cooler chests and dry ice.

**If having snow cones, 1 week before:
Reserve snow cone machine, generator. We used all seasons on Havana. Will need 4 gallons of syrup and 300 cones also.
Many people have generators, try to find someone you can borrow it from.

**If having popcorn:
Pick up snow cone machine. Get popcorn machine from school. Buy popcorn from Cresco Rest Supply on 6th & 225. Buy the 6 oz box of popcorn oil combination. Need 6 tablecloths and make some signs. Buy ice and papertowels and popcorn bags from Sams Club. Will need 5-20 lb bags of ice.

Set up at 4:30pm, plan on staying until clean up around 7:30pm.

Set up two tables with umbrella, one for membership sign ups, one for passing out popsicles.
